What's a typical day as a Materials CoordinatorYou'll be responsible fora variety of hand-on and administrative tasks associated with purchasing, parts tracking, inventory control, stocking, kitting, expediting and shipping/receiving operations. Daily responsibilities will include:

  • Parts tracking, reporting, and data entry into SAP
  • Purchasing goods and services; creating purchase orders
  • Coordinating with shops and vendors for stock availability and pricing, alternate part numbers, etc.
  • Inventory control
  • Backup support for Shipping department

Materials CoordinatorRequirements:
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. throughout your daily shift
  • Prior experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse, or inventory 
  • Basic computer knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel and the ability to learn new software programs
