Kelly Services is seeking reliable Material Operators to join our client's team in Taylor, PA!

Contract: This is a temp-to-hire opportunity
Location: Taylor, PA
Rate: $18.05/hour
Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Position Summary:
As a Material Operator, you will be responsible for a variety of warehouse functions including order picking, receiving, put-away, packing, loading/unloading, and shipping. You'll work with a team that values safety, accuracy, and productivity.

What You'll Do:

  • Pick and assemble orders for shipment based on detailed instructions and packing slips.
  • Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit.
  • Load and unload freight accurately and safely.
  • Operate various types of material handling equipment:
  • Electric Pallet Jack (basic experience needed – we'll train!)
  • Cherry Picker
  • Reach Truck
  • Perform inventory tasks: sorting, labeling, wrapping, packing, and occasional repacking.
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper PPE use and Stop Work Authority protocols.

What We're Looking For:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least 1 year of experience operating material handling equipment (basic electric pallet jack knowledge preferred—we provide training).
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle products and materials safely.
  • Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Experience with RF scanners and WMS systems is a plus.
