Job Title: Material Handling Specialist (Short-Term Assignment)

Location: Farmington, CT
Assignment Dates: September 8 – October 3, 2025
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $19/hr
Duration: 1-month temporary assignment (Opportunity to stay with company after contract ends)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handling Specialist to assist the TRUMPF Tooling team during the transfer of press brake tooling to our central HUB. This short-term position plays a vital role in supporting the Quality team, particularly aiding the Head of Quality from Austria during tool inspection and inventory efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely lift, move, and handle press brake tooling (up to 50 lbs)

  • Provide physical support during the tooling transfer and inspection process

  • Work closely with the Quality Manager to stage tools for inspection

  • Perform accurate stock counts and track movement of tools

  • Use manual pallet jacks to relocate materials within the facility

  • Maintain clear records of tasks and completed work

  • Follow direction and instructions from team leads and quality personnel

Qualifications:
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy tooling (up to 50 lbs) safely

  • Basic experience with manual pallet jacks

  • Strong attention to detail and task tracking

  • Able to follow directions closely and work in a team setting

  • Dependable, punctual, and proactive in supporting day-to-day needs
