Material Handler / Wire Cutter
Location: Renton, WA
Pay Rate: $23–$24 per hour (DOE)
Employment Type: Full-Time-Temp-to-Hire after 90 days
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler / Wire Cutter to join our warehouse team in Renton, WA. This role is responsible for general warehouse operations including receiving, storing, packing, and shipping materials, with the added responsibility of accurately measuring, cutting, and preparing wire and cable orders. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, physically capable, and thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities-
Safely operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, forklifts, push carts, and wire-cutting machinery

Receive, unload, store, and move materials throughout the warehouse

Measure, cut, spool, and bundle wire and cable per customer specifications

Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment via small parcel carriers (UPS) and LTL freight

Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory, perform cycle counts, and report discrepancies

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, and perform daily equipment safety inspections

Assist in outdoor pipe department work as needed

Climb ladders and perform tasks requiring extended standing, bending, and twisting

Occasionally deliver customer orders using a light company vehicle

Minimum 18 years of age

Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical warehouse duties for extended periods

Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly and accurately

Dependable with good attendance and a strong work ethic

Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying conditions

Prior warehouse or material handling experience preferred, but entry-level candidates willing to learn are encouraged to apply
