Job Title: Warehouse Material Handler / Forklift Operator
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $20.50/hr

Position Summary

The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for safely loading, unloading, and delivering materials within the facility using a forklift or other equipment. This role includes filling orders, packaging goods, loading trucks, organizing stock, and transporting materials to and from production areas. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, move, and deliver materials using a forklift or other warehouse equipment.

  • Wrap, weigh, and label materials or containers; record information accurately on required forms.

  • Fill orders, prepare packages, and stage materials for shipment.

  • Transport materials between warehouse and production areas.

  • Interpret and follow written pick slips, including quantities, lot numbers, and labeling requirements.

  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, including sweeping floors, cleaning spills, and organizing inventory.

  • Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Excellent punctuality and strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions, including memos and pick slips.

  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills; able to work well independently and in groups.

  • Flexibility and reliability in daily tasks.

  • Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Basic math skills (counting, measurements, weights).

  • Knowledge of and adherence to all warehouse safety guidelines.

  • Ability to pass a forklift training and certification test.

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Equipment: Must wear steel-toed shoes.
