Job Title: Material Handler – Refurbisher
Schedule: First Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | 30-Minute Lunch
Location: Waco, Texas
Pay: 17/hr
Job SummaryWe are seeking a reliable Material Handler – Refurbisher to join our team at a metal crates company. This position is responsible for refurbishing metal crates by power washing, scraping tags, and reassembling crates with hand tools. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a hands-on, industrial environment.
Responsibilities-
Refurbish metal crates using a power washer and hand scraping tools.

Remove and replace old tags, labels, and other identifying materials.

Assemble and reassemble crates using basic hand tools.

Inspect crates for quality and ensure they meet company standards before reuse.

Handle and move materials safely and efficiently.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Previous experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling preferred.

Ability to use power washers, scrapers, and hand tools safely.

Must wear steel-toed boots (all other PPE provided).

Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to [insert weight limit].

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Dependable with good attendance and punctuality.
