Material Handler

Pay Rate: $18.70/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM
Training Schedule (first week): 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Contract Length: 6 months (with possible extension)
 

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and safety-oriented Material Handler to join our 2nd shift warehouse team. In this role, you will support daily warehouse operations by moving materials, preparing shipments, and ensuring accurate and efficient handling of goods. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong attention to detail and readiness to learn additional tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow all safety guidelines, warehouse protocols, and company procedures.

  • Safely and efficiently operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.

  • Wrap and band skids to secure loads for transport.

  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.

  • Prepare, stage, and organize shipments according to the shipping schedule.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

  • Learn and perform additional warehouse duties to support daily operations.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

  • Previous warehouse or material-handling experience is a plus.

  • Ability to operate or learn to operate forklifts and warehouse equipment.

  • Strong attention to safety and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

  • Ability to lift and handle materials

  • Reliable attendance and willingness to work assigned shift.
