Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Goodyear, AZ 85338
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM start time

Job Summary:
The Material Handler is responsible for moving, loading, and unloading materials under immediate supervision, following established procedures and guidelines. This role is vital to ensuring that production, shipping, and waste management processes run smoothly.

Major Responsibilities:

• Utilize hand trucks, hoists, forklifts, and other material handling equipment to move materials and products as needed for production, shipping, or waste management.
• Operate hand tools, including electrical and pneumatic powered tools.
• Construct shipping containers, prepare products for shipment, and crate or band products as required.
• Inspect products to ensure conformance to quality, engineering, and customer requirements.
• Complete and maintain accurate electronic processes and paperwork, including checklists, stamping, blueprints, barcoding, and shipping/receiving systems.
• Maintain departmental housekeeping and adhere to 5S standards.

Required Skills:

• GED or High School Diploma preferred.
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English.
• Demonstrated ability to operate all required material handling equipment safely and effectively.
• Must be able to stand and walk on concrete for up to 100% of the workday.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs independently and over 50 lbs with assistance.
• Must be able to use hands to reach, handle, and feel.
• Must have manual dexterity for tool usage.
• Must be able to visually inspect products.
• Must be able to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
• Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
