Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Sumner, WA
Schedule: Work 9:00 am Tues, Wed next and Tues, Wed of the 18th and 19th
Pay Rate: $21/hr
Reports To: Warehouse or Operations Supervisor

Position Summary:

The Material Handler is responsible for safely and efficiently handling, moving, and organizing materials, products, and packages within the facility. This role requires frequent lifting, physical activity, and adherence to all safety and PPE requirements to ensure a secure and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely lift, move, and transport packages and materials (up to 25 lbs regularly).

  • Load and unload shipments from trucks, pallets, or storage areas.

  • Assist with organizing and staging materials for production or shipment.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.

  • Follow all company safety procedures and reporting protocols.

  • Use manual or powered material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, carts) as needed.

  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs frequently throughout the shift.

  • Must bring and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

  • Hard Hat

  • Safety/Hi-Viz Vest

  • Safety-Rated Shoes

  • Safety Glasses

  • Gloves

  • Strong attention to safety and detail.

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Previous material handling or warehouse experience preferred but not required.

    Work Environment:
    • This position requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.

    • Work may take place indoors or outdoors, depending on site needs.

    • Must comply with all site-specific safety regulations and procedures
