Kelly Services is seeking an experience material handler for a manufacturer located in Lake Mary, FL 32746.

  • Salary Range-$16.00 - $20.00 (Based on Experience)

  • Shift-Mon-Friday 6am-2:30pm

Job Summary The Material Handler is responsible for safely operating a fork lift truck to transport raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to designated areas. This role ensures smooth production flow and may include shipping and receiving duties as necessary. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform daily forklift inspections.
  • Safely operate a forklift and crane.
  • Transport goods safely between areas.
  • Organize raw, in-process, and finished goods.
  • Load and unload coils efficiently.
  • Restock materials and in-process goods.
  • Package finished products as per instructions.
  • Load and unload trucks as needed.
  • Maintain accurate timekeeping records.
  • Ensure a clean, orderly, and safe work area.
  • Wear required safety equipment and adhere to safety policies.
  • Understand and apply the company's "Quality Policy" and "Quality Objectives."
  • Meet or exceed efficiency goals.
  • Adhere to company policies.
  • Aim for complete customer satisfaction by reducing variability and achieving zero defects.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years
  • Computer Skills: Basic PC skills
  • Certificates/Licenses: Forklift License, Crane Operator License
Physical Demands Regularly required to sit, use hands, talk and hear, frequently reach with hands and arms, occasionally stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and occasionally lift/move up to 75 pounds. Requires specific vision abilities including close vision and color vision. Work Environment Exposure to moving mechanical parts, precarious heights, airborne particles, chemicals, outside weather conditions, extreme cold, and risk of electrical shock.
