Pay Rate: $17.00 /hr. 
Shift: 1st 


Typical day as a Material Handler:

  • Picking, packing, sorting, arranging, counting, storing, and processing items for storage and shipment
  • Receiving materials and finished goods daily, verifying quality, type, and amount
  • Safely operating distribution equipment in accordance with established procedures
  • Interacting with internal personnel to ensure customer requirements are met
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Possess 0-2 years of related experience; experience in logistics with a life science company is preferred
  • Must be able to operate powered industrial trucks and equipment at various heights
  • Have basic computer skills for ERP systems, Outlook, and shipping software
  • Are flexible with shift availability and willing to work varying schedules and overtime as needed
  • Mut be able to work in a warehouse environment under various temperatures including room temperature (59–86 degrees F), cold-room (36-46 degrees F), and/or freezer-room (minus 4 – 23 degrees F)
