Job Description: Material Handler

Rate: Regular Pay Rate - $20.64/hour
Shift: Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM with an hour break
 
Role Overview
As a Warehouse Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring products are received, stored, selected, packed, and shipped efficiently. You'll utilize the latest Warehouse Management System technology—essential for routine operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts.
  • Receive and store incoming materials following warehouse management system procedures.
  • Select, pack, and palletize shipments for delivery.
  • Sort and pack less-than-truckload shipments and conduct cycle counts.
  • Maintain a clean warehouse environment by adhering to safety procedures and conducting daily safety inspections.
Requirements
  • Must be comfortable working at heights.
  • Capable of meeting physical requirements of the warehouse environment, which includes lifting loads, cutting wires, climbing ladders, and active movement in various temperatures.
  • Pass pre-employment physical testing.
  • Minimum age requirement is 18 years.
  • Proven good attendance and work ethic.
  • 2+ years of experience preferred.
  • Prior experience in large warehouse operations using a Warehouse Management System is desirable.
 
Work Details
  • Full-time, hourly, non-exempt role.
  • Predictable work schedule enabling life planning: no weekends or night shifts for most roles.
