Looking for a great opportunity with a top food manufacturing company? We're hiring Forklift Operators/ Material Handler to work at a premier food manufacturing company in Manitowoc, WI.
1st Shift- Monday- Thursday- 6am-6pm- $18.50/ hour
At least 6 months-1 year forklift experience required
What's a typical day as a Forklift Operator/Material Handler ?
Responsibilities include general warehouse duties, including:
• Operating a forklift to keep warehouse in a safe, organized condition.
• Loading/unloading, pulling product, stocking shelves, shipping/receiving.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Physical requirements of this job include, but are not limited to:
• Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment
• Must be able to stand and walk
• Must be able to lift and carry
• Must be able to climb stairs
• Others - Twist, Bend, Squat, Reach, Push/Pull, Hot/Cold environment
GENERAL WORK ENVIRONMENT
Warehouse operator can expect to experience the following conditions:
• Exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels
• Exposure to hot or cold temperatures
• Exposure to wet or slippery floors
• Exposure to chemicals and fumes
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to operate and understand computer hardware and software as it relates to the operation and control of this process. SAP specifically.
• Ability to operate a forklift- minimum 6 months experience required.
