Description

Our Client's Enterprise Data and Analytics Center of Excellence team drives the overall strategy, plan, and capabilities for data and analytics across the company. We're looking for an experienced Data Management Program Lead (Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Quality) to help us become a data-driven organization with a focus on accelerating growth and differentiating ourselves in the industry. Qualified candidates will have experience performing business analysis, documenting requirements, and implementing solutions on industry-standard MDM and data governance platforms. Key responsibilities include data governance, business intelligence, enterprise data warehouse, advanced analytics, and business enablement of data analytics.

Here's what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful:

Job duties:  Lead the strategic vision, roadmap, and execution for Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Quality to improve the completeness, consistency, and accuracy of data across key systems and all master data domains

Establish and maintain the Master Data platform (business and functional configurations) and processes to synchronize data across systems. Partner with IT colleagues to drive technical enhancements and support

Work with various teams across the enterprise to champion the development and deployment of a data quality management process that results in measurable improvements

Drive data quality management efforts, policy creation, and adoption planning and implementation with business partners; define methods for measuring and monitoring data quality and policy adherence

Develop and manage performance and quality metrics to ensure compliance with operations and data related policies, standards, roles, responsibilities, and adoption requirements

Manage relationships with members of the enterprise data and analytics community to ensure alignment with business goals and expectations

Coordinate and facilitate regular, cross-functional meetings to address data issues, remediation processes, and metrics monitoring

Act as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor, and change agent

Provide team members and partners with thought leadership and coaching on data standards and practices

Serve as a point of escalation for governance of data quality and protection

Essential skills

 

Minimum 5 years' experience in a mid to large size organization (1000+ employees) performing business analysis, documenting requirements, and implementing solutions on industry-standard MDM and data governance platforms

Minimum 5 years' experience developing and refining data, business intelligence, and analytics policies, capabilities, and data quality best practices

Fluency in English and clear, concise, effective verbal and written communication, presentation, and facilitation skills

Ability to detect, in real time, the most effective communication method for the group / individual and adjust messages accordingly

Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to self-manage across multiple and concurrent areas of responsibility; proven ability to exercise sound judgment and take initiative

Ability to make logical connections between business processes, data and analytics capabilities, and data standards

Demonstrated record of consulting and successfully working in complex, matrixed environments to build and maintain positive relationships and accomplish goals; ability to lead through influence

Understanding of change management concepts and strategies, including communication, culture change, and performance measurement system design

Knowledge of industry leading data quality, data protection management, and data goverance practices; familiarity with data related government regulatory requirements and emerging trends preferred

Experience with business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets

Understanding of financial institution business functions, regulatory compliance and auditing, privacy management, digital channels, CRM, ERP business processes, and lifecycles of various enterprise data entities (e.g., customer/member, account/product) preferred

Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) required; Business or Computer Science concentration preferred; Master's degree in Business or Technology-related field a plus
