Quality Manager

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $100,000.00

What's a typical day as Quality Manager? You'll be:
  • Inspecting, testing, or measuring products for conformance to specifications through first article and in-process inspections
  • Measuring dimensions of products to verify conformance using instruments such as calipers, gauges, or micrometers
  • Reading blueprints, data, manuals, and other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment methods, certification processes, and required measuring instruments
  • Completing Product Parts Approval Process paperwork
  • Reviewing outsourced parts for conformity for release to production
  • Determining acceptance or rejections of materials based on measurements and test results
  • Completing inspections using optical comparators, coordinate measuring machines, and other advanced measuring equipment
  • Ensuring inspection equipment is calibrated correctly
  • Collaborating with Management, manufacturing associates, and supervisor/leads concerning inspection results
  • Identifying and containing all potential nonconforming products, ensuring they are not shipped to customers
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have a minimum of 10 years of relevant QC experience
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF work environment
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and knowledge of effective team-building approaches
  • Have the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
  • Have a minimum high school diploma or GED
