Maintenance Worker
Location:  Plaquemine LA
Pay: 18+ Depending on experience. 

  Key Responsibilities:

• Remove and Clean: Use hand tools and equipment to remove old rubber lining from tank interiors.
• Operate Tools: Safely use scrapers, wrenches, and grinders; accurately measure using a tape measure.
• Lift Materials: Manage and lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds during the workday.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company safety rules, especially regarding confined space work and proper PPE.
• Organize Workspace: Keep a clean and organized work area.
• Teamwork: Follow supervisor instructions and work effectively as a part of a team.
• General Tasks: Assist with other labor or cleanup tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Physical Capability: Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Confined Spaces: Comfort working in confined spaces inside industrial tanks.
• Tool Experience: Experience with basic hand tools and reading a tape measure.
• Availability: Willing to work 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.
• ISTC Card: Basic Industrial Safety Training Council card or ability to obtain one before starting work.
• Punctuality: Reliable, punctual, and willing to accept direction.
• Physical Fitness: Fit for demanding industrial, plant-based manual labor.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry Experience: Previous experience with industrial cleaning or tank work.
• Rubber Lining Familiarity: Familiarity with rubber lining or similar industrial applications, though not required, is a plus.
