Maintenance Worker

Coppell, TX
? Full-Time | Monday–Friday | $22.00/hr

A well-established, confidential manufacturing company is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Worker to join our operations team. This hands-on position supports the daily maintenance and repair of equipment in a clean, air-conditioned environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Schedule & Work Environment
  • Training Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

  • Regular Schedule (Post-Training): Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM

  • Some Saturdays and overtime may be required based on business needs

  • Air-conditioned environment with some exposure to heat and cold

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain all installed equipment and systems for optimal performance

  • Diagnose and perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance

  • Use eMaint software to manage daily/weekly/monthly PM schedules

  • Generate purchase orders and coordinate with subcontractors

  • Create and analyze maintenance reports

  • Instruct and oversee production workers in routine preventive maintenance

  • Fabricate and repair parts using shop tools and equipment

Technical Skills & Knowledge
  • Basic electrical knowledge (480/240/120 volts)

  • Familiarity with: bearings, power transmission, hydraulics, pneumatics, lubrication systems, fluid pumping, welding, and rigging

  • Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings

  • Microsoft Office proficiency

  • Brazing and open-air furnace experience a plus

  • PLC troubleshooting and AutoCAD experience preferred but not required

  • Use of hand, power, and specialty tools

Physical Requirements
  • Lift up to 50 lbs

  • Stand for extended periods

  • Perform physical tasks such as pulling, bending, climbing, kneeling, reaching

Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of industrial equipment maintenance experience

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience

  • Experience in welding, cutting, and mechanical fabrication

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to multitask and work independently

  • Basic math skills
