Location::  1 River Road, Schenectady NY 12345 
Position::  Project Manager (Maintenance)

Pay: $46-50/hr


Job Summary:

As a Project Manager at GE Renewable Onshore Wind, your job scope will focus on leading the execution of scheduled maintenance activities per contractual requirements for North America's growing wind turbine fleet. As a key member of our operations team, the selected candidate will manage supplier execution including overseeing the safety, quality, & delivery of planned maintenances.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:
•    Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans for all wind turbine assets based on O&M manual requirements, seasonal weather trends, and manpower capacity.
•    Coordinate with stakeholders to schedule maintenance activities in a manner that ensures on-time maintenance while optimizing for operational efficiency.
•    Partnering with contracted companies, ensuring adequate staffing levels and skill sets to support maintenance activities.
•    Hold contracted companies accountable for the performance of maintenance teams including performance targets, quality, and safety.
•    Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
•    Promote a culture of safety among contracted partners.
•    Ensure accurate records of maintenance activities, including site level reporting, task management, and future work planning.
•    Document standard work processes including but not limited to site vendor inductions, field maintenance activities, and operational best practices.
•    Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, detailing maintenance performance, KPIs, and operational efficiencies.
•    Follow up on actions from weekly operational calls with contracted partners and regional 
Required Qualifications:
•    Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college OR High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance or technical position.
•    Minimum 5 years of experience in a service, technical or maintenance role with increased responsibility

Desired Characteristics:
•    Strong understanding of wind turbine technology, maintenance practices, and safety standards.
•    Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and collaborate across departments.
•    Analytical mindset with proficiency in problem-solving.
•    Certifications in project management, maintenance planning, or related fields are desirable.
•    Advanced level of Excel and PowerPoint experience, particularly pivot tables, advanced lookups, charts and data mining.
