Maintenance Support – Temporary (2-Month Assignment)
Pay: $25.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
Location: Brewster NY 10509
Overview:
We are seeking a dependable individual to assist our Maintenance team for a short-term (approximately 2-month) assignment. This role supports general facility upkeep and equipment maintenance to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Dispose of cardboard, wood, plastic, banding, trash, and pallets along designated floor routes.

Safely operate sit-down and stand-up sweepers; use two-way radio for team communication.

Maintain forklift and Taylor Dunn batteries.

Perform light plumbing tasks and clear snow from shipping and building access areas when needed.

Clean up spills and leaks in compliance with EHS (safety) standards.

Assist with minor maintenance and repair projects (plumbing, electrical, HVAC).

Support tool and supply organization for the maintenance team.

Conduct routine equipment checks and report issues promptly.

Assist with general housekeeping and other facility projects as assigned.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Willingness to train on sweeper and basic maintenance equipment.

Reliable, punctual, and attentive to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
