Maintenance Millwright – 2nd & 3rd Shift

Location: West Monroe, LA
Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience)
Shifts Available:

  • 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

  • 3rd Shift: Monday – Friday, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
    Employment Type: Full-time, permanent

About the Role

We are seeking two experienced Industrial Mechanics / Maintenance Millwrights to join our skilled maintenance team. These positions play a key role in ensuring our equipment operates efficiently, safely, and reliably. Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair precision industrial rollers and related equipment

  • Measure, install, and align various bearings and mechanical assemblies

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

  • Disassemble and reassemble mechanical systems with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Operate hoists, forklifts, and overhead cranes to move and position heavy components

  • Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators) to ensure quality standards

  • Perform basic fabrication, welding, machining, and industrial painting as needed

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Previous experience as a millwright, industrial mechanic, or maintenance technician preferred

  • Knowledge of mechanical repair, welding, and/or machining processes

  • Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and quality workmanship

  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team

  • Willingness to develop cross-functional skills across multiple trades
