Description
We're hiring a Maintenance Electrician in Oakdale, CA 95361 to support high-volume production with hands-on electrical maintenance, PLC troubleshooting, and equipment setup.
If you have 1+ year of electrical/electronic experience, can troubleshoot and repair wiring, scales, and metal detectors, install and maintain plant electrical systems, and program PLCs/encoders, this is a strong opportunity to step into a stable, fast-paced environment.
Maintenance Specialist (Electrician)Location: Oakdale, CA 95361
Schedule: Mon–Sat, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, onsite
Pay Rate: $40.17/hr
Essential Functions

Install, maintain, and operate plant electrical systems (switchgear, high/low voltage, drives, lighting, controls)

Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electronic equipment (wiring, scales, metal detectors, encoders)

Program and troubleshoot PLCs and encoder systems; complete wiring and labeling

Set up electronic equipment for scheduled production runs; perform daily/weekly electrical PMs

Fabricate custom electronic parts; install safety devices; complete PM/work order documentation
Must-Haves

High school diploma or GED (trade/college training preferred)

1+ year electrical/electronic experience; PLC certification preferred

Ability to read/interpret electrical schematics and prints

Knowledge of plant safety, GMPs, confined spaces, and planned maintenance

Proficient with electronic testing equipment; able to lift up to 75 lbs; English proficiency (read/write)
