Kelly Services is seeking a Medical Records Specialist to work at a premier client located in Altamonte Springs, FL 32714

Job Title: Mailroom Clerk
Job Type: Full-Time, Temp to Hire
Pay $17/hour
Mon-Friday- 8am-5pm ( may be a little flexible on hours)

Job Description: This position plays a crucial role in the seamless integration of mail handling for patient letters. As part of our small in-office team, you will work collaboratively to meet daily responsibilities, including letter printing, folding, and postage processing. proficiency in computer software programs, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Print, fold, and process patient letters for mail delivery
  • Collaborate with the team to meet daily responsibilities and deadlines
  • Communicate effectively with customers, the general public, managers, and clients
  • Maintain flexibility in work assignments and workloads

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • At least 1 year of Mailroom experience. Printing, mail machine, postage processing.
  • Proficient in electronic communication, including web-based email and online chat
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Tactile and manual dexterity for handling documents and operating office machines
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately, especially in high-pressure environments
  • Strong interpersonal skills for customer service and team collaboration

Work Environment:

  • Physical Demands: Regular sitting and use of hands for finger/handling tasks; occasional lifting/moving of up to 35-40 pounds; specific vision abilities required.
  • Noise Level: Moderate to loud (typical office environment)
  • Confidentiality: Adherence to electronic building entry and computer network security measures; compliance with HIPAA regulations; completion of background check and drug test in accordance with company policies.
