Job Title: Machine Operator – Chemical Manufacturing
Location: Beaumont, TX – 10658 HWY 90
Employment Type: Contract/Contingent Labor
Schedule:

  • Initial Schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
  • Rotational Schedule:
  • Week 1: 5:30 AM – 1:30 PM
  • Week 2: 9:30 PM – 5:30 AM
  • Week 3: 1:30 PM – 9:30 PM
    Hours per Week: 40 (Weekdays)
    Pay Rate: $41.45 per hour
Position Summary We are seeking talented Machine Operators for a chemical manufacturing facility located in Beaumont, Texas. This is a great opportunity to operate and monitor industrial machinery that supports complex chemical processes. This contract role offers valuable experience and skill growth in a modern manufacturing environment. Core Responsibilities
  • Follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety programs, polices, and regulations including safe work permits (LOTO, hot work, etc.).
  • Operate and adjust equipment to maintain chemical reaction speeds and product quality.
  • Monitor recording instruments, meters, panel lights, and indicators; react to warning signals promptly.
  • Control operating processes or systems of machines using control panels or automatic equipment.
  • Document operating data such as process conditions and instrument readings.
  • Communicate with technical and supervisory staff to address safety, efficiency, or quality concerns.
  • Collect product samples for laboratory analysis and quality assurance.
  • Regulate or shut down equipment as directed or during emergencies.
  • Operate pumps for washing, rinsing, venting, and flow control to different equipment.
  • Notify maintenance and support teams regarding equipment issues; adjust utilities as needed.
  • Inspect and operate utility equipment such as towers, boilers, chillers, and scrubbers.
  • Calculate material requirements and yields using provided formulas.
  • Gauge tank levels using calibrated rods and pressure gauges.
Requirements
  • Authorization to work in the United States required.
  • Criminal history and previous employment background checks will be completed upon offer.
  • Previous experience in chemical manufacturing or a light industrial environment preferred.
