Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Goodyear, AZ 85338
Pay Rate: $21/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM Job Summary The Machine Operator will set up and operate production equipment under the direct supervision of management, following established procedures and guidelines to ensure quality and efficiency. Major Responsibilities

• Operate manual production machinery and equipment, such as a wood molder machine; training may be provided on the sheet metal machine.
• Read and interpret job orders, diagrams, and blueprints to select, position, and secure machinery and materials.
• Load, unload, lift, and move materials and products, utilizing lifting equipment as available.
• Complete and maintain all required electronic processes and paperwork (including bar-coding, checklists, stamping, blueprints, shipping/receiving documents, accessory lists, and material scanning).
• Perform pre-shift preventative maintenance.
• Maintain departmental housekeeping and uphold 5S standards.

Required Skills

• Ability to stand and walk on concrete for the entire workday.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch as needed.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted; over 50 lbs with assistance.
• Proficient hand dexterity for tool usage; able to use hands to reach, handle, and feel.
• Visual acuity required for quality inspection of products.
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and tape measures.
• Ability to read, speak, and comprehend English.
• Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) throughout the shift.

Required Experience

• GED or High School Diploma preferred.
• Less than one year of experience in construction or manufacturing.
• Proven safe and effective operation of required equipment.
