This is a direct hire Machine Operator position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package upon hire.

Details:
• Monday – Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
• $23.00/hr.
• Canton, MI
Position Information:
• Set up, adjust, modify tooling, and operate tube bending equipment to produce formed tube products
• Utilize production equipment and tools to perform cutting, deburring and assembly operations
• Read drawings or work orders to produce a complete product
• Maintain inventory of product within workstations
• Perform first off and in process quality checks on parts to ensure product meets quality standards, document defects as necessary
• Rework assembled equipment and products according to engineering changes
• Assist in other work areas as needed
Required Experience:
• 1+ year of machine set-up and operation experience required
• Previous operation of tube bending machines is preferred
• Experience in a machine shop, fabrication, press brake role helpful
• Ability to read basic blueprints, drawings and diagrams to machine and assemble products
• High School diploma or GED equivalent required
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
