We Are Hiring: PA Certified Special Education Substitute Teacher
Location: Boyertown Area School District
Position: Extended Substitute for Elementary Life Skills Classroom
Pay Rate: $175 per day

We are urgently seeking a certified Special Education teacher to step into an extended substitute role in an Elementary Life Skills classroom starting in February. This is a critical opportunity to provide stability and guidance to students who rely on skilled, compassionate instruction. Minimum Requirements:
- Valid PA Teaching Certification in Special Education
- Clearance requirements as outlined by the Pennsylvania Department of Education
Responsibilities:
- Carry out the classroom teacher's duties, adhering to the school district's lesson plans, rules, and policies.
- Lead instruction using the teacher's existing lesson plans.
- Provide a nurturing environment tailored to the diverse learning needs of students.
- Assign appropriate tasks and homework.
- Encourage classroom participation and empower students to learn.
- Develop lesson plans and administer tests/assignments (if required for long-term assignments).
- Build a positive, supportive relationship with students.
