Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: Competitive pay rate
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (willingness to work flexible/split shift)
Location: Onsite, Pensacola, FL

What's a typical day as a Logistics Specialist? You'll be:
• Scheduling and coordinating the pick-up and delivery of GE Pensacola finished goods to North American project or inventory sites
• Minimizing transit time and logistics costs through load optimization strategies
• Identifying commodity and equipment configurations needed for freight transportation
• Communicating with various parts of the supply chain to provide status updates and reports
• Managing truck and fixture lot inventories
• Collaborating with sourcing team and transportation suppliers to meet delivery timelines and requirements
• Proactively managing shipment schedules to meet all internal metric deliverables
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Project Management, or Business Management preferred.
• Have 2+ years of experience working in Logistics/Supply Chain/Project Management or related field
• Are proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office programs
• Have excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written
• Are willing to work a flexible schedule and in various weather conditions
• Willing to work outside in various weather conditions – office space will be in the GE truck parking lot working directly with drivers
