Job Title: Warehouse Operations Support – 2nd Shift
Location: Lancaster, TX
Pay: $19/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM (Overtime as needed)
Type: Temp-to-Perm
Overview:
We're seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk team member for a growing logistics and distribution operation in Lancaster, TX. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of warehouse processes—especially truck loading times—and provide crucial support across internal departments. Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a key point of contact for internal departments on customer-related questions or requests.

Support operational projects that drive cost savings and business efficiencies.

Advocate for effective scheduling and processing of assigned customer orders.

Request freight quotes and expedited service options from the transportation team.

Coordinate with customer-specific carriers, especially for collect shipments.

Generate and submit Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs) using customer web portals/software.

Arrange carrier pickups via web portals and provide customers with tracking and documentation.

Investigate and resolve customer complaints and follow up on action items.

Act as a process expert to support and guide warehouse production teammates.

Manage reports on processed (but not yet invoiced) orders.

Assist in process documentation and perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Self-starter with excellent problem-solving abilities.

Team-oriented, adaptable, and motivated to support business goals.

Positive attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:

Some college or at least 2 years of relevant work experience.

Experience working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment is a plus.
