Lathe Manual Machinist – 3rd Shift
Location: West Monroe, LA
Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Note: Must be able to train on 1st shift
Employment Type: Full-time, permanent position with full benefits

Operate and maintain a variety of machine shop equipment including large, medium, and small lathes, mills, drills, and vertical lathes

Perform precision machining for new manufacturing and the repair of paper machine rolls and other industrial components

Set up machines and execute accurate machining practices on large equipment

Produce close-tolerance work that meets company quality and safety standards

Use overhead cranes to lift and move heavy materials safely

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating reliability, strong attendance, and willingness to work overtime as needed

Remain adaptable and open to learning new processes or machinery

High school diploma or equivalent preferred (relevant experience may substitute)

Proven experience as a manual machinist; background in paper mill roll repair or heavy industrial machining strongly preferred

Skilled in machining setups, tooling selection, and operation of large-scale equipment

Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and follow detailed specifications

Strong commitment to safety, precision, and quality workmanship

Candidates with machining fundamentals and a strong willingness to learn will be considered for trainee opportunities
