Pay Rate:
$30.00/Hour

Overview:
The Lab Technician will support a small team of scientists and engineers to develop new materials.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 1st: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Setup and takedown experiments according to established protocols.
• Oversee the calibration, maintenance, and repair of laboratory equipment.
• Weigh chemical reagents and prepare solutions.
• Record and document test data accurately and efficiently, including observations and measurements.
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
• Manage laboratory budget and resources, including procurement of supplies and equipment.
• Assist senior researchers with ongoing projects as needed.

Qualifications:
Required:

• Prior experience working in a laboratory setting.
• Experience with chemical formulations preferred.
• Strong understanding of laboratory safety protocols and procedures.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desired:

• Experience working with combustion.
