Kelly Science is seeking a Laboratory Chemist (Oil & Gas) for a growing client located near Chelsea, MA.
 
Pay: $28-35/hour depending on experience
Shift: Rotating weekly between 1st Shift (7am-3pm) and 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm) with potential weekend work depending on demand.
Please note, first month will be only on 1st shift for training
Employment Type: Full Time; Temp to Hire
 
Job Duties include:

• Logs and receives incoming samples for testing and delivers samples to staging area.
• Performs sample and quality control testing following established methods, analyzes results, and may issue reports after demonstrating competency.
• Prepares samples, quality control specimens, reagents, and calibrates equipment for testing.
• Records and communicates results accurately in logs, charts, and worksheets, ensuring data validity and traceability.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Complies with company policies (Safety, Quality, Ethics, Environmental) and uses good judgment.

 
Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry preferred.
• 2+ years of experience performing petroleum testing strongly preferred.
• Must be willing to learn and be flexible with shift
