Kelly Services is now Hiring -Customer Service Representative (CSR)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Overtime as needed)
Compensation: $20-$23/hour (depending on experience)
Position Type: Temporary to Permanent
Location: El Monte, CA
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to serve as the primary point of contact for our customers. This role involves managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring exceptional service delivery within assigned territories while supporting our aerospace manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Duties
- Prepare, process, and manage all incoming and outgoing quotes according to customer deadlines
- Process customer purchase orders in compliance with AS9100 Risk Analysis standards
- Enter orders into ERP system with accurate translation of quality requirements, delivery specifications, and contract details
- Maintain comprehensive records of open, closed, and archived customer orders and quotes
- Update and manage ERP customer database
- Handle purchase order follow-ups, weekly status reports, work order changes, and delivery expedites
- Troubleshoot problematic purchase orders and coordinate solutions
- Facilitate communication between customers and internal teams (engineering, inspection, accounting, shipping)
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in customer service (industrial/manufacturing experience preferred)
- Communication: Strong English reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
- Availability: Ability to work 40+ hours per week with overtime as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of AS9100 Quality System (major plus)
- Experience working with Aerospace OEMs
- ISO9001 experience (a major plus)
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy

- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Experience working independently and as part of a team
- Punctuality and professional demeanor
