Junior Stationary Engineer - Facilities

Join our dynamic team in El Dorado Hills as a Junior Stationary Engineer! You'll play a crucial role in maintaining and supporting our facility's infrastructure, working alongside a high-performing team.

This is a 100% onsite position in El Dorado Hills, CA

Job Specifics:

  • Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Compensation: $28-$30 per hour + Annual Bonus
Responsibilities:
  • Perform or assist with maintenance inspection routes, monitor equipment, and record data.
  • Perform or assist with maintenance tasks on electrical infrastructure equipment.
  • Assist with operations on large equipment (generators, switchgear) once trained.
  • Adhere to company procedures and policies (Lock-Out-Tag-Out, NFPA 70E, etc.).
  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned workspaces and equipment.
  • Assist with maintaining parts and consumables inventories.
  • Meet corporate administrative requirements.
  • Provide support for facilities maintenance, repair, and infrastructure operations.
  • Provide on-call support as required.
  • Report equipment deficiencies and alarms.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED, and one of the following:
  • 2-year or 4-year degree, or a certificate from a technical or trade school with coursework in electric power, power generation, or industrial operations.
  • Military or merchant marine experience in power distribution, generation, or industrial facilities operations.
  • 2 years of experience as an industrial Facilities Technician or Facilities Engineer.
  • A combination of schooling and training that satisfies the above criteria.
  • Punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet time constraints.
  • Strong prioritization skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of basic hand and power tools.
  • Ability to learn the use of hoists, measuring tools, and man lifts.
  • Familiarity with industrial lift truck operations and PPE usage.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as required.
  • Ability to travel and work remotely as required.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working at heights.
  • Ability to distinguish colors and hear alarm signals.
