Junior Operations Coordinator
Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time (6.5-month contract with the possibility of permanent employment)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid — minimum 3 days in office each week

Are you a motivated, detail-oriented professional eager to support investment and brokerage operations? We're seeking a Junior Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic mid-office service team, providing vital assistance to portfolio managers and brokers. This is a great opportunity for those passionate about the financial industry and client service.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by collaborating with different internal departments
  • Keep clients informed about new developments, products, and services relevant to their business
  • Review, approve, and process administrative items such as de-registrations, bank transfers, foreign exchanges, and internal account transfers
  • Investigate and resolve client issues promptly, recommending improvements as needed
  • Coordinate and document regular client meetings to proactively resolve ongoing service or operational concerns
  • Provide clients with clear guidance on policies, procedures, and training that impact their daily activities

What You Bring
  • University degree and at least 2 years' experience in a client services or brokerage operations role
  • Completion of (or progress toward) Canadian Securities Course or Conduct and Practices Handbook is an asset
  • Familiarity with operational processes, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • High motivation, enthusiasm, and a positive, can-do attitude
