Janitor — 2nd Shift
Location: Grand Rapids, OH 43522
Schedule: 12pm - 6pm, Monday - Friday, approx. 30 hours weekly (could be more or less depending on the season).
Pay: $21.00/hr
Responsibilities:
• Sanitation: Clean and disinfect restrooms, breakrooms, countertops, door handles, and other high-touch areas.
• Waste Management: Empty Trash and recycling bins and replace liners.
• Supply Management: Report shortages.
• Window & Glass Cleaning: Wash windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
• Special Projects: Perform Deep cleaning, carpet shampooing, floor waxing, or other heavy tasks.
• Maintenance Reporting: Inform supervisors of damages, repairs needed, or potential hazards.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to health, safety, and OSHA guidelines and proper chemical use.
• Follow all health and safety regulations (all PPE will be provided except for 6-inch safety toe work boots).
• Some tasks will be performed in the warehouse where there is no temperature control so worker will need to dress appropriately for the season.
Requirements:
• Ability to follow verbal directions.• Ability to work well alone and with a partner or team.
• Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties.
• Able to adapt to changing schedules or routines; excellent time management skills.
• Pay attention to detail when cleaning.
• Organized and able to follow a schedule.
• General knowledge of cleaning products, supplies, and techniques for cleaning.
