Kelly Services is proud to partner with Johnson & Johnson, and together, we are actively hiring a Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic Commercial Operations and Strategic Enablement team.
This role is essential in driving sales growth by ensuring seamless inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistical support across the U.S. market. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our sales teams to optimize customer service and streamline operational processes.

Position Title: Inventory Control Specialist
1st Shift: 7AM-4:30PM
Pay Rate: $27-$30 Hourly (Dependent upon experience)
Benefit Package: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Vacation, Sick Time, & Holiday Pay
Location: Allentown, PA 18109

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Fulfillment: Fulfill customer orders and support inventory replenishment for operational efficiency.
  • Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and labeling of warehouse stock for quick and accurate retrieval.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with local sales teams to resolve open orders and address customer solutions.
  • Logistics Coordination: Process inbound materials and liaise with freight forwarders, receiving parties, and internal clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Documentation: Maintain compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and assist with regulatory inspections, safety, and quality audits.
  • Problem Resolution: Partner with the Accounts Receivable team to address pricing discrepancies and process invoicing.
  • Training & Safety: Adhere to all training requirements, health and safety regulations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Flexibility: Adapt to changing priorities and perform additional tasks as needed to support business objectives.
Experience:
    • At least 2 years of experience in distribution, logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or inventory management.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (SAP, JDE, or similar).
    • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or similar quality standards is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong initiative, creativity, and proactive communication skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Demonstrated attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
