We are seeking self-motivated and organized individuals to support and implement programming that encourages elementary school students to be confident, work hard and meet their academic goals. Schedule:
- Consistent Monday–Friday schedule
- 7.5 hours per day (5.25 hours on adjusted dismissal days)
- Interventionist Substitute Teacher reports to the same school everyday
- Follows the VBCPS school calendar
- Interventionist Substitute Teachers do not work when students are not in school
Program duration:
- Remainder of the 2025/2026 academic year
Compensation::
- Weekly pay – direct deposit or pay card
- $26-$31/hour based on experience and credentials
Specific information about the Kelly® Education / VABCS program Virginia Beach, VA.
- In-person working side-by-side with Teacher of Record utilizing district's curriculum
- Grades PreK-5
- Variety of openings to include: K-5 General Curriculum, Spanish Immersion, Math, Science, Writing, Special Education, Early Childhood Special Education
- Special Education general curriculum positions will work in a general education room, resource room, or self-contained room
Minimum requirements.
- Associate's degree or higher
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to engage and build relationships with students
- Highly organized and able to complete documentation on time
- Self-motivated, able to work independently
- Reliable transportation to scheduled school site
- Preferred: Teaching and/or tutoring experience; curriculum planning and instructional design experience
