Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
$20 - $25 per hour 8 am to 430 pm

What's a typical day as a Quality Control Inspector? You'll be:
• Conducting first piece and in-process inspections, as well as final inspections and testing on a variety of parts and products to ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.
• Utilizing precision measuring instruments and assisting in making precision inspection set-ups, while maintaining inspection plans.
• Training new employees on equipment usage and inspection procedures while conducting random audits during operations.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a high school education or equivalent, with at least 1 year of technical training in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of first piece and in-process mechanical inspection experience in a close-tolerance machining job shop environment.
• Are proficient in using manufacturing software systems and have knowledge of ISO standards and surface plate inspection.
