Job Title: Inside Sales Representative
Location: Brantford, ON
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (On-site)
Salary: $60,000 – $65,000 per year
Benefits: 3 weeks' vacation • 100% employer-paid benefits • 5% RRSP match
Kelly Services is hiring an Inside Sales Representative on behalf of our client, a packaging manufacturer in Brantford, Ontario. A full-time, permanent role for a driven sales professional ready to build lasting customer relationships and advance their career in a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accept, acknowledge, process, and invoice customer sales orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assist customers with inquiries about products, delivery, pricing, and order status.
- Communicate with customers in a timely, professional, and solutions-oriented manner.
- Proactively reach out to potential new customers through outbound calls to introduce products, generate leads, and build relationships.
- Support the Sales Director with account management and sales-related administrative tasks.
- Coordinate with internal departments — including Finance, Manufacturing, and Logistics — to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
- Organize and track customer shipments based on inventory availability and business priorities.
- Maintain accurate customer files and records.
- Adhere to departmental standards and best practices while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Bring:
- Minimum 3 years of inside sales or sales experience within the manufacturing or packaging industry.
- A high school diploma.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP or other ERP systems is required.
- Confidence and enthusiasm for making outbound sales calls and engaging with new and existing customers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, customer-first approach.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders and data.
- A strong mathematical aptitude and ability to manage pricing and order details.
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
