Now Hiring: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Location: Mocksville, NC
Pay: $27–$33 per hour
Schedule: 2-2-3 schedule | 8 PM – 8 AM
(Work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days, off 2 days, work 2 days, off 3 days, and repeat)
Type: Permanent position with full benefits
A leading global manufacturer specializing in nonwoven materials used in hygiene and personal care products is seeking two Industrial Maintenance Technicians for its Mocksville, NC facility. This company plays a critical role in producing high-performance fabrics used in everyday consumer goods, and it offers a fast-paced, technology-driven environment for skilled trades professionals.
About the RoleAs an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of manufacturing equipment. You'll work hands-on with mechanical and electrical systems, supporting production through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Key Responsibilities-
Perform routine line checks and proactively address maintenance needs

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and automation systems

Prioritize work orders and coordinate with production to schedule repairs

Order and replace parts as needed

Plan and assist in executing equipment upgrades and improvement projects

Weld and fabricate machine parts and structural components as necessary

Adhere to safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout and PPE protocols

Accurately document work and communicate effectively with other team members

Identify and report quality or operational abnormalities

Regularly lift up to 50 lbs and work in an industrial environment with required hearing protection
Education & Experience
-
Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience

Proven background in industrial maintenance, welding, or fabrication
Skills & Abilities
-
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capabilities

Proficiency in blueprint and schematic reading

Familiarity with welding, fabrication, and press maintenance a plus

Solid communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility
