Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Pay range: $55-65,000/YR
Schedule: Mon-Fri 7AM-3:45PM and IF Saturday coverage is required - Saturdays are 7AM-11AM
Duration: Permanent position with full benefits
Location: Attleboro Falls, MA

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair building systems and production equipment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the factory operates smoothly by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance & Repairs

  • Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and mechanical systems.
  • Install, repair, and maintain production machinery.
  • Locate and diagnose problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
  • Inspect and measure parts using appropriate instruments; dismantle machinery to replace defective parts.
  • Source replacement parts through OEMs and distributors.
  • Train production workers in performing routine preventive maintenance.
  • Provide technical guidance to address maintenance-related queries.

2. Preventive Maintenance

  • Execute scheduled tasks to minimize downtime and maintain optimal equipment performance.

3. Troubleshooting & Emergency Response

  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and execute timely repairs or adjustments.
  • Respond swiftly to emergencies like power outages, leaks, or system failures.

4. Facility Upkeep

  • Assist in general building maintenance, including minor carpentry, painting, plumbing, and groundskeeping.

5. Compliance & Documentation

  • Adhere to OSHA regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections.

6. Vendor Coordination & Inventory

  • Collaborate with external vendors for specialized repairs or installations.
  • Manage inventory of supplies and ensure timely ordering of replacements.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in industrial maintenance, with expertise in hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing machinery and facility systems.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, or on-call as needed.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to work in confined spaces, outdoors, or on rooftops.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with basic carpentry, painting, and groundskeeping tasks.
  • Detail-Oriented: Committed to quality and safety in all tasks performed.
