Inbound Forklift & Reach Truck Operator
Location: Pooler, GA
Pay Rate: $19/hour (increase of $1 after 90 days and upon direct hire)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (30-minute lunch; some overtime may be required) Position Summary:
Join our team in Pooler, GA, as an Inbound Forklift & Reach Truck Operator! In this role, you'll play a vital part in efficiently managing the flow of materials entering our warehouse by safely and skillfully operating stand-up reach forklifts and reach trucks. Your focus will be on unloading, transporting, and storing inbound shipments, ensuring the warehouse remains organized and inventory is handled with care and accuracy. Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely unload inbound shipments using stand-up reach forklifts and reach trucks
  • Place, transport, and stack pallets and boxes in assigned warehouse locations
  • Securely store products in racking within the warehouse
  • Organize and handle wooden pallets and incoming goods for storage
  • Identify, document, and report damages, shortages, or quality concerns for inbound inventory
  • Maintain detailed inventory movement records and activity logs
  • Use RF scanning equipment to track and record all inbound shipments
  • Assist with packaging and general warehouse duties as needed
  • Adhere to all company policies, safety rules, and legal requirements
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience operating stand-up reach forklifts and reach trucks (preferably with inbound warehouse experience)
  • Valid forklift operator certification required
  • High school diploma required
  • Attention to detail and proficiency with industrial warehouse equipment
  • Excellent physical condition and coordination; must be able to handle repetitive lifting and movement
Work Environment:
Our warehouse is not temperature controlled but offers ample airflow through large doors. Required attire includes tennis shoes with covered ankles; most staff wear jeans and typical warehouse clothing.
