Human Resources Learning & Development


Hybrid Position (Remote/Onsite as Needed)
Pay Rate: $31/hr

Summary:
The Learning & Development Cohort Care Specialist delivers high-quality, detail-oriented program support for learning and development initiatives. This role emphasizes cohort care to cultivate a sense of belonging and connection among participants, ensuring consistent communication, engagement monitoring, progression tracking, and effective celebration of milestones. Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/training (required)
  • 5-7 years of related professional experience (required)
Responsibility Level
  • Exercises independent judgment under the direction of a supervisor
  • Manages time and competing priorities across multiple programs independently
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented, with reliable follow-through and appropriate escalation of risks/exceptions
  • Demonstrates sound judgment in prioritizing participant and program needs; proactive approach to cohort care
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities, especially in cross-cultural, technical, or executive settings
  • Knowledge of curriculum and training design, instructional methods for individuals/groups, and assessing training outcomes
  • Understanding of business/management principles: strategic planning, resource allocation, HR modeling, leadership technique
  • Skilled in media production, communication, and dissemination techniques
  • Experience coordinating across multiple time zones, vendors, and internal teams
  • Knowledge of human behavior and performance, individual differences in ability/personality/interests, learning/motivation theories (typically required)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Forms
Major Job Duties & Responsibilities
Cohort Care
  • Schedule cohort events, team meetings, and training sessions
  • Coordinate on-site event logistics (room bookings, badge pickup, catering, AV setup, etc.) as needed
  • Track Slido license status/renewals and support session interaction tools
  • Liaise with external partners on session dates, rosters, housing, and travel arrangements
  • Encourage participant use of AI resource for frequently asked questions
Participant Lifecycle Management
  • Maintain participant rosters and dashboards for both programs
  • Confirm attendance and travel readiness for residential sessions
  • Track completion of requirements (assessments, certificates, release forms)
  • Distribute digital badges and certificates using VirtualBadge.io
Communications & Stakeholder Support
  • Draft/send communications to participants and managers (reminders, deadlines, travel instructions)
  • Respond professionally/timely to participant, mentor, and manager inquiries
  • Manage content and updates on Microsoft Teams channels and SharePoint
  • Record meeting notes, action items, and follow-ups
Data & Reporting
  • Maintain/update Excel trackers and dashboards (participation, costs, progression)
  • Coordinate with Employee Development and Finance on cost codes, tuition, travel caps
  • Assist with preparing materials for Technical Leadership Team updates, kickoff decks, and feedback summaries
Feedback & Recommendation Loop
  • Share monthly observations and recommendations to improve processes/programs with supervisor
  • Collect informal participant feedback (successes, challenges)
  • Summarize recurring questions or confusion concerning resource usage
This is a hybrid position offering flexible remote work, with occasional onsite requirements.
