Kelly Services is seeking a Human Resources Lead for our client—a fast-growing scientific organization specializing in biomarker discovery and molecular data analysis, located in Sorrento Valley, San Diego. Join a team pioneering the future of disease research and drug development through technology and collaboration.

Details

  • Location: Sorrento Valley, San Diego, CA
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm
  • Pay Rate: $43.27/hour

Role Overview
As HR Lead, you will manage core HR operations and drive a positive workplace culture. Responsibilities include employee lifecycle management, compliance, engagement, policy creation, talent acquisition, compensation, and benefits. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional ready to make an impact.

Key Duties

  • Oversee daily HR functions and regulatory compliance
  • Manage onboarding, offboarding, and employee leave
  • Lead employee relations and engagement efforts
  • Administer compensation, benefits, and performance reviews
  • Handle full-cycle recruiting for a variety of roles
  • Maintain HRIS (Rippling), training records, and documentation
  • Collaborate on audits, reporting, and interdepartmental projects
  • Update policies, SOPs, and employee handbook
  • Support legal, compliance, and immigration matters

Requirements

  • Proven HR management experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • HRIS and employment law knowledge (Rippling preferred)
  • Recruitment, benefits, and employee relations experience
