HR Onboarding Assistant – Talent Acquisition
Full-Time | Office-Based | $20–$22/hr | 8–10 Week Assignment with Temp-to-Hire Potential
Are you a person with a knack for organization and communication? Kelly Services is looking for a motivated HR Onboarding Assistant to join Talent Acquisition team and be the welcoming voice for our newest hires in North Canton, OH!
This is a full-time, in-office position with hours from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The role is fast-paced and highly interactive — you'll be making calls, sending texts, and answering the main recruiting hotline to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for our new team members.
What You'll Do:
- Be the first point of contact for new hires — guiding them from offer to Day One
- Coordinate onboarding logistics with professionalism and precision
- Send New Hire Offer Letters via our ATS
- Manage onboarding paperwork through our HRIS system
- Schedule drug screens and background checks with vendors (First Advantage or Accusource)
- Ensure all documents and tasks are completed before starting dates
- Answer FAQs from applicants and employees or direct them to the right HR team member
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of HR files and conduct periodic audits
- Support the Talent Acquisition team with administrative and clerical tasks
- Clear communicator and proactive follow-upper
- Comfortable on the phone and in fast-paced environments
- Detail-oriented and organized with a professional demeanor
- Previous experience in HR, recruiting, or administrative support is a plus!
