Location: Jackson, TN

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am to 3pm or 8am to 4pm

Work Type: Onsite

Pay: $21.46/hr.

Duration: 6-Months

 

The HR Admin is responsible for overseeing the hiring and separation processes and administering payroll for hourly employees. The administrator will also assist the Human Resources Leader in all HR related tasks. This position is in support of the Human Resources Department and the Plant Leadership Team to assist them in meeting desired outcomes. The HR Administrator will coordinate various plant wide events and projects that will involve our employees concerning benefits, engagement, communication and any other item designated by the management team.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • HR Management
  • Maintain accurate employee records including new hire files, attendance records, and other HR related documentation.
  • Process new hire files and I-9 documentation.
  • Create and administrate employee badges.
  • Assist with employee random drug screening administrative process.
  • Employee Benefits
  • Assist in preparation and facilitation of benefit processes.
  • Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries on medical programs, retirement plans, healthy living benefits, ECT.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding
  • Communicate plant staffing needs to recruiters.
  • Schedule and coordinate on-site interviews with recruiters and key plant stakeholders.
  • Assist in employee pre-hire and onboarding processes.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation by communicating with key plant stakeholders.
  • Employee Engagement & Recognition
  • Support in plant efforts to be a culture of appreciation.
  • Participate in coordination of employee engagement initiatives.
  • Training and Development
  • Provide administrative support to T&D team.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma Required
    • 4 plus years of working HR experience, preferred.
    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S
    • Manufacturing Knowledge or Experience, preferred.
    • Payroll system experience strongly preferred.
