Now Hiring: Harvest Scale Operator – $19.00/hr – Canandaigua, NY

We are seeking dependable candidates to fill a Harvest Scale Operator position at a local winery production facility in Canandaigua, NY. This is a seasonal, temporary opportunity with 2nd shift hours.

Pay:

  • $19.00 per hour
Schedule:
  • Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Job Summary:
The Harvest Scale Operator is responsible for accurately weighing inbound truckloads of grapes, raisins, and other materials used in the winemaking process, along with related recordkeeping and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Weigh trucks in and out using scale equipment and software
  • Complete all paperwork clearly and accurately
  • Prepare and enter weigh tag reports and correct discrepancies in the system
  • Open and close scale systems for each shift
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas
  • Follow safety, environmental, and quality guidelines

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Basic math skills and 10-key data entry experience
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
  • Team player comfortable using office equipment and following procedures
  • Reliable and able to work consistent 2nd shift hours
