Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a GMP Manufacturing Lab Technician I near Grove City, OH.

Temp to Hire 
Shift:
Monday - Friday 7am-4pm/8am-5pm
Compensation: $20/hr

  Job Overview:

Join our innovative team as a GMP Manufacturing Lab Technician I in AAV Gene Therapy Production, where you will play a vital role in the production of life-changing gene therapy products. This entry-level position is designed to provide you with comprehensive experience in a dynamic and cutting-edge environment, offering foundational skills and knowledge in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) operations. You will be instrumental in ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of our production facilities and equipment, contributing to media and buffer formulation, and supporting various manufacturing activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • GMP Equipment and Facility Sanitization: Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of GMP manufacturing facilities and equipment, ensuring strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) regulations.

  • Media and Buffer Preparation: Assist in the preparation of media and buffer solutions under supervision, adhering to production schedules and maintaining precise documentation.

  • Tubing Set Preparation: Prepare tubing sets following specific procedures and documentation practices, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

  • Supply Management: Replenish cleaning and consumable supplies needed for manufacturing operations, set reorder points, and place orders based on forecasted demand to ensure continuous production flow.

  • Documentation and Review: Maintain real-time, accurate documentation, and perform manufacturing reviews of logbooks, Master Production Records (MPRs), and associated documents to ensure compliance and traceability.

  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Assist in troubleshooting and resolving minor equipment or process-related issues with guidance from senior team members, ensuring minimal disruption to production activities.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including GMP Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Product Development, to support seamless manufacturing operations.

  • Equipment Setup and Inventory Management: Aid in equipment setup, manage inventory, and handle material requests for cleaning and manufacturing activities, contributing to efficient production processes.

  • Process Improvement: Actively participate in process improvement initiatives by providing feedback and suggestions to enhance departmental processes and improve operational efficiency.

  • Safety and Cleanliness: Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe and productive working environment.

Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Experience: Prior experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment is preferred, with exposure to facility or equipment cleaning and sanitization, media and buffer preparation, or equipment setup being advantageous.

  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with SOPs or other protocols/work instructions, and basic computer skills with the ability to learn and use manufacturing software.
