Kelly® Professional & Industrial is hiring for a General Utility Associate at Signode, a global leader in transit packaging solutions. With over 80 manufacturing facilities across six continents, Signode delivers innovative tools, equipment, and software that protect goods and optimize packaging for industries like steel, paper, and consumer goods.

Why You Should Apply:
  • Pay Rate: $19/hour

  • Location: Florence, KY

  • Schedule: 7:45 AM – 8:00 PM

  • Employment Type: 3-month contract (Temp-to-perm)

  • Work Environment: On-site

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Support production lines by staging materials, completing paperwork, and assisting with quality checks

  • Operate mixers and production equipment to manage daily manufacturing processes

  • Transfer products to pallets and build loads for work-in-progress or finished goods

  • Monitor inventory output and track downtime to identify root causes

  • Verify packaging materials and conduct visual quality inspections

  • Load/unload trucks and stage shipments for timely delivery

  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace using the 6S methodology

  • Collaborate with plant staff to ensure a safe and efficient work environment

This Role Might Be a Great Fit If You Have:
  • Manufacturing experience (plastics experience is a plus)

  • Familiarity with hand tools and measuring devices

  • A high school diploma or GED (preferred)

  • A strong sense of safety, energy, and teamwork
