We at Kelly® are seeking General Operator to work in Switz City, IN. This is a temporary assignment (2-3 months during harvest season).
Pay:
Pay Rate:$19.50 / hour
SHIFT OPTIONS:
First week will be training (Mon – Friday 7:00 – 3:30) (Day 1 starts at 7:30 AM)
• Second week will be placed on a team as needed per skill set and team needs.
• 12-hour shifts, 6:00 – 6:30 with 30 minute lunch and additional breaks.
What's a typical day as a General Operator?
This is a seasonal position. You will be inspecting and maintaining the seed crops or you would support seed inventory management at the plant. This position will also be helping with harvesting the seeds and seed packing.

QUALIFICATIONS/BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Pass a background check and other pre-employment screenings
• Have reliable transportation to the site and be able to arrive at the work site as instructed
• Maintain enthusiasm, good attitude, honesty and a willingness to treat all with respect
• Ability to work long hours and rotational shifts, including over-time as needed;
• Ability to communicate verbally and written
• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 60 pounds, work in and outdoors, walk on uneven surfaces
Monitors and operates equipment and facilities, including field equipment, insuring quality and conformance with standard operating procedures. Maintains safety standards at all times and initiates and follows emergency procedures when necessary. Rotates through various roles within the area, including, in some cases, a control room rotation.

Equipment/Attire Requirement:
• Steel-toe over the ankle work boot (worker responsibility)
• Hi-Visibility hard hat (provided)
• General purpose gloves (provided)
• Hi-Visibility safety vest (provided)
• Safety eyewear (provided)
• Long pants of durable material (jeans preferred)
• Shirt with sleeves, minimum to cover shoulder (no loose clothing)
